 Keep - Nobody randomly wrote year 1909 under the photograph. Prominent Malayalam Literary Organization Kerala Sahitya Akademi itself marked the picture is from 1909 (see side picture). It is clearly 103 years old. Since all the people in the photograph are notable and it was photographed as the part of another literary organization at the time, there is absolutely no reason to believe that somebody kept this photograph hidden for 42 years before publishing. As he many times tried successfully, to my belief, Captain is playing with polices, using unavailability of easily reachable and findable online records. :(--Praveen:talk 10:42, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nobody is asking about an online link to varify the age of the image, You may find it even from books, news papers and other materials acceptable by commons, Kerala Sahitya Akademi is started only on 1956, As per your statement if PD need to be claimed a publication date is required. There is no evidence produced that this image published on 1956 or even 1909 or recent past. Board under the photograph clearly says "Bharatha Vilasam Sabha Malayalam calendar 1804 / AD 1909" (ഭാരതവിലാസം സഭ കൊ.വ 1804/എ.ഡി. 1909). As you know, Kerala Sahitya Akademi is the descendant of many such groups, and established under Govt. of Kerala [1]. That board is in your Mother Tongue Malayalam BTW, and so I wonder how you cannot be sure about the year of picture taken? I feel that you are intentionally disturbing users (mainly Indian origin) who contribute commons, just because local communities were not happy about your local wiki contributions. :( --Praveen:talk 13:55, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
