I am very pleased with my purchase of these hikers. I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and have problems with my feet, (i.e. - plantar fasciitis, swollen tarsus, hammer toe, etc.). Finding a comfortable pair of shoes is hard to do given my current condition's with my feet. It seems like most shoes these days "at the store's" are too narrow. Even the ones marked as Wide width still tend to be too tight. I came across these shoes while doing a search for extra wide width hikers. I haven't had much luck ordering shoes online, but I was desperate for a new pair of shoes. These were an online special being sold for a good price. They seemed like a good pair of shoes and had good reviews, so I thought I'd take a chance and order a pair. I was glad I did because these were comfortable on my feet right out of the box. The width of the shoes was perfect, and I was happy that I finally found a pair of hikers that weren't too tight in the toe and Tarsus region's of my feet. Even with a little thicker pair of socks they still fit well. The insoles are pretty comfortable also which was another Plus. I usually have to buy extra cushioned insoles for shoes, but I don't think I will have to with these for a while. I am limited on the amount of time I spend on my feet due to arthritic pain, but these shoes were comfortable for me even after a few hours of wearing them.
I have never tried this brand of hiker before, but I am very pleased with the construction and the way they fit and feel.
Buying clothing and shoes online is something I usually don't do, but I think I finally got lucky with this purchase. I will definitely buy the Nortiv 8 brand again if they continue to make their shoes in the extra wide, I believe 4E?, width.
I might even order another pair NOW for the future. If you are looking for a good pair of hikers in an extra wide width, I can honestly say give these a try. I don't think you will be disappointed. Happy Trails!
P.S. - They even came with an extra pair of laces.

Always worried about buying clothing, especially shoes online without being able to try them on; especially a newer brand I wasn't familiar with. These did not disappoint, instead I am now a loyal customer and plan on buying another pair this fall. I live in a wet area in Oregon where it rains 200+ days out of the year, and waterproof and comfort are most important. I don't just use these for trails, but use them as daily shoes in town and on trails. I have had these for 7 months now and they are still in good condition but starting to wear. However, as most waterproof shoes, they lose water resistance with wear. I walk 5 miles a day, so I put these to the test.

Extremely comfortable. Everyone has different feet and comfort, was pleasantly surprised with these right out of the box. I always add more support, after a few weeks to preserve the original inside soles.
The right size (12) as advertised; fit perfect. Good laces and support in the ankle area; strong material. They also look good which is also important. I have tested them through rain, snow, ice, in town, and trails and would highly recommend them. I read reviews thoroughly when buying things online, especially apparel and these had high reviews. Great shoes and plan on buying another pair this fall before the heavy rains get here again.

The drawbacks I found were that your feet get hot in them and the boots are heavier in weight than they appear. I recommend them if you need a rugged shoe for hiking and you don’t need them for more than a four hour trek since they do get hot and are heavier than others.

I love these boots and have adapted them as my everyday wear shoes. I previously bought them for a cosplay/airsoft loadout, but have found myself using them as my everyday wear shoe. They are my work shoes, my hobby shoes, my going out shoes, they have such a nice design and overall comfort that i went from wearing $100 shoes like jordans and nikes to just this pair. The material is not breathable but its not suffocating to the foot. the material is 100% percent water proof unless you somehow manage to get water thru the tongue, and waterproof as water glides off not you can stick your foot in a pond and come out unscathed. They dont take long to break in and become very comfortable to wear after. Ive order another pair cuz they unfortunately ripped form the heel but that is because i order a wide size and a size bigger by mistake. Overall they are a great pair a boots, for outdoor traveling and sports, or if they are to your taste of fashion too.

This morning I walked in my local dog park, where the grass is long and wet, and my feet remained completely dry. That is the primary test for me. The boots are light weight and with a good pair of socks are very comfortable. I've used them working in the yard, and on a rocky hiking trail. I'm very happy with these boots! Excellent price also compared to the major brands.

Update. A few weeks in now, and these boots are super comfortable and remaining dry on my early morning walks through the dog park. Iay never buy a different brand!

Where I live there are a lot of hills and it rains a lot and I walk everywhere. I bought these because they were good on price, they're designed to keep the water out and look fairly robust. I don't like to spend too much on any shoes because the tread never seems to last long no matter how much you spend these days. I think manufacturers need to work harder to get this right. Having worn for a few months I'm quite impressed. The tread on the sole is still in pretty good condition. Provided they're manufactured to the same standards I'd have no hesitation in buying these again. Also, the other bonus with these is they threw in a spare pair of laces which I thought was a nice touch.
