Paul was born in Gibraltar on the 27th October 1976. His first taste of acting was in 1985 at the tender age of 9 where in a school nativity play he played an Angel. He followed this up with Musical performances on the flute and piano before being cast in another school play as "The Owl" in Edward Lear's "The Owl and the Pussycat".
Another place Paul could perform in a different way was on the football pitch and this dominated his life until he was 16. A succession of knee and ankle injuries put paid to any idea of making the grade as a professional footballer and so he had to find another way in life. The desire to perform was always there but it took a succession of ill-fated jobs for him to realise where it was he wanted to be.
Whilst at University in Bolton aged 20, Paul found himself attending Nemesis Model Agency in Manchester learning about the do's and don'ts of being a model. Alongside this he was signed to Crowded City who specialised in Commercials and Walk-On roles. It was here that things fell into place for Paul. Having worked on 'Hollyoaks' as an Extra and auditioned for 'Crimewatch', Paul finally felt like he belonged somewhere.
He returned South with a determination to succeed and was relentless in his search for knowledge. He began attending acting workshops in 2003 and joined a local TV club who were producing an online soap opera. This was a sound training ground which helped Paul's development as an artist and he began securing roles in short films and features.
With recent credits, 'Facility 31', 'Director's Cut', 'D.One' and 'The Harsh Light of Day', Paul has been able to show his versatility as a screen actor. Paul recently played the character of "Corporal Sean Adams" in Bad Blood Films horror trailer "Facility 31," due to begin full production in 2014. Previously he played the lead character of "Jonas" in "A Couple of Clowns," the winning film judged by Noel Clarke and Anna Smith for the "Director's Cut" film competition. He travelled to an old military air base near Hemau, Southern Germany, to shoot the action film "D.ONE" where Paul plays the uncompromising and extreme character of "Sergeant Downey". "The Harsh Light of Day" saw Paul cast in the role of "Tom", a small-time criminal who unwittingly gets involved in a battle for revenge.- Music Department
