Told in flashback, End of Term opens with a young student, Melissa (Chelsea Edge), being interviewed by DS Stacy Harcourt (Julie Graham) and Di Jim Burman (David Bamber) who are investigating the death of a teacher Damian Self at the Ford Barrington School of Art. Only this school has a history and that history is coming back to haunt this year’s graduating class. Literally.
You see some 50 years earlier artist Garth Stroman, had a disturbing vision for his art – a vision which hangs over the current crop of students, in particular Melissa’s sister who is infatuated with Stroman’s obsession with Bdsm in his art. In fact, Stroman torments the school and in this case, the graduating class who are embarking on a journey of artistic exploration…...

Denise Richards will team with “The Raid 2” star Arifin Putra for “Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace.” The film, which shoots in Los Angeles in August, is a sequel to 2020 action horror film “Angels Fallen.”
Ali Zamani, who directed the first film, and previously directed family comedy “C.I. Ape” and horror thriller “Incision,” will continue the franchise, typified by its metaphysical mania and muscle power. With Nicola Posener and Houston Rines in the lead roles, the first film also employed the services of veterans Michael Madsen, Eric Roberts and Nicholas Turturro.
In the sequel, the hero, Gabriel, rounds up his motley crew of demon slayers, styled as the ‘Warriors of Peace’ to fight an apocalypse-bound army of the dead. Richards’ character is a tough weapons expert charged with arming Gabriel’s crew. Michael Teh, Joshua Burdett, Lee Kholafai, Korrina Rico, Silvio Samic and Greg Canestrari round out the international principal cast.

The Nowhere Inn: "From real-life friends Annie Clark (a.k.a. Grammy award-winning recording and touring artist St. Vincent) and Carrie Brownstein comes the metafictional account of two creative forces banding together to make a documentary about St. Vincent’s music, touring life, and on-stage persona. But they quickly discover unpredictable forces lurking within the subject and filmmaker that threaten to derail the friendship, the project, and the duo’s creative lives. From first-time filmmaker Bill Benz comes a densely woven, laugh-out-loud funny and increasingly fractured commentary on reality, identity, and authenticity. A story of two close friends who attempt to wrestle the truth out of a complex subject before the hall of mirrors that is their artistic lives devours them completely."

Scarehouse Celebrates 20 Years of Fears: "There’s no need to fear … actually, come to think of it, there is – because the legendary haunted attraction ScareHouse, named one of the scariest haunted houses in the United States, will open its doors of doom for its 20th spine-tingling year on Saturday, Sept. 18.
The first visitors to ScareHouse screamed their way through its horrifying haunts and sinister sights and sounds in 1999 – but it’s this year that the attraction is commemorating 20 Years of Fears as a result of a scaled-down, pandemic-influenced version last season.
Tickets to ScareHouse are available beginning today at www.ScareHouse.com. ScareHouse will be open Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 1; and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 6. General admission tickets – which require advance online reservations – begin at $22.95, with a special “Rip Ticket” that offers no-reservation front-of-line access available beginning at $39.95.

"What do you want?" "I need you to make a choice." Shudder has unveiled the official trailer for a horror thriller titled Shook, yet another new social media horror story. When Mia, a social media star, becomes the target of an online terror campaign, she has to solve a series of games to prevent people she cares about from getting murdered. But is it real. Or is it just a game at her expense. Who knows?! Who even cares?! Yet another derivative, cliche version of this horror. Written and directed by Jennifer Harrington, the film stars Daisye Tutor as Mia, with Emily Goss, Nicola Posener, Octavius J. Johnson, Stephanie Simbari, Grant Rosenmeyer, and real-life make-up and social media influencer Genelle Seldon. Featuring some new music by electronic artist and Italians Do It Better label owner Johnny Jewel. This doesn't look so good. We can all agree that 2020 is definitely getting coal in its stocking.
Fortunately, Lifetime is playing Santa and gifting us with a star-studded, wholesome, inclusive, and highly-anticipated slew of Christmas films. Let's face it, we can take all the cheesy, teeth-achingly sweet, warm, and fuzzy goodness we can get.
Lifetime's Christmas lineup is the gift that keeps on giving with sequels, Lifetime Christmas queens, legends and icons, and some of our favorite faces.
We're talking Kelly Rowland, Kyla Pratt, and Fran Drescher. We have Mario Lopez, Vanessa Lachey, Aaron Ashmore, and Gilles Marini. Oh, and there's Marie Osmond, a Tiffany Haddish directed film, Jason Priestley, and Melissa Joan Hart.
Seriously, the casting alone is all holiday cheers and no jeers.
And the best part is we can kickstart all the fun early, since according to EW, the first film of the lineup, Christmas on Ice, will air on October. 23.

Christmas might not be until December, but some networks are slapping on their mittens and gearing up for the holiday season as early as October.
Families often find themselves gathered around the TV binging some of Hallmark or Lifetime’s latest Christmas-themed films, and this year is no exception. With people around the country encouraged to stay indoors and avoid crowded locations, Variety breaks down a list of feel-good Christmas movies to tune into this year.
As part of Lifetime’s “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” holiday movie slate, the channel will premiere 30 original TV movies beginning Oct. 23 and running through mid-December. In its efforts to diversify the stories it showcases, Lifetime said it worked with GLAAD and Cape (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment) for its first-ever LGBTQ-led film “The Christmas Setup” and “A Sugar & Spice Holiday” centering on an Asian American family.
More films will be added to the list as networks announce them.

Action/fantasy horror can be very hit or miss. I have to say in general I quite enjoy it as a sub genre. Movies like the Underworld, Resident Evil and Blade franchises or Dracula Untold, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter and The Last Witch Hunter are all pretty entertaining films. Don’t get me wrong, these aren’t ‘great’ movies but when kept at about ninety minutes, they’re an enjoyable and fun watch. So despite its awful title, this is what I expected from Angels Fallen.
It is clearly influenced by the movies mentioned above but does not have anywhere near the budget. A budget that it very much needs to pull off its ideas.

Happy Tuesday, "Bold And The Beautiful" fans. Today's April 23, 2019 episode featured some pretty interesting and romantic scenes. It all kicked off with the continuation of Thomas telling Sally about his sinister plan to break up Liam and Wyatt's marriage. Sally tried to talk some sense into Thomas, but he just wasn't having it. He has totally convinced himself that Hope belongs with him, and Liam belongs with Steffy! Later on, Sally saw that Thomas has been making drawings to pass off to Hope as drawings that young Douglas drew up. Again, Sally was stunned and shocked at this discovery, but Thomas didn't care when Sally called him out on it. He just kept saying, "Hope is going to be with me where she belongs" or something crazy like that. While this was happening, Quinn eavesdropped on Sally giving Thomas a hug and just assumed that Sally was getting fresh with Thomas.

Before all that took place, we did see Emma dance and do her all of her fancy choreography numbers onstage. It looked like she pulled off a good job. Elsewhere, crooked Dollar Bill Spencer was back to doing his dirty work with Steffy, still trying to convince her that Liam is too in to Hope and just isn't right for her. Steffy tried to say it isn't so, but Bill is relentless. In other words, we pretty much saw the same ole,...

Time for an exclusive bit of lunacy from the upcoming British import Crypt. Stick that in your Friday end-of-day work clock countdown and smoke it. Or don't smoke it. That could be bad. Instead just check 'em all out. Then smoke something else.
Nicola Posener, Mark Harris, Peter Woodward, Natalie Stone, and Lucy Drive star.
Synopsis
Crypt tells two interconnecting stories played out in parallel, intersecting with each other. The first story follows five twenty-somethings who, on the hunt for some excitement, break into an abandoned church/convent only to become the victims of the horrors that lurk within. The second story follows the church’s investigation into the tragic "accident" that resulted in the deaths of the group that broke into the church.

I know, I know, you’re confused, too! The thing is that Mark Murphy‘s upcoming horror movie obviously has two titles at this moment. Both of them are quite cool actualy – The Convent (sounds solid for a horror) and Crypt (even better, if you ask me). But that’s not so important right now, because we finally have a completely new images from the whole thing, and I’m sure you’re going to love it!
So, in case you’re not so familiar with Murphy’s horror movie debut, I will first inform you that the whole thing blends classic supernatural horror with a modern found footage twist, and will tell us two interconnecting stories played out in parallel, intercutting with each other.

"Nearly halfway through the shoot, and luckily the only deaths and disasters are all happening on screen," says Murphy. "Today we shoot a key scene which will have people talking for years to come. Feeling like a mole man having spent so much time filming in the crypt, but we're getting gold on a daily basis. Very much looking forward to seeing this on the big screen but will sorely miss working with such an amazing cast and crew; expecting big things from Nicola Posener, Tom Leeper, Charley McDougall, Sabrina Bussandri and Lucy Drive."

Having breathed enough mythological fire to secure the Best Fantasy Film prize at BleedFest in Los Angeles, Anne K. Black's Dawn of the Dragon Slayer is heading to UK stores on DVD and Blu-ray on February 13, 2012.
The film is the first fantasy dragon feature to be directed by a woman and Anne presented the world premiere of the movie at BleedFest last September.
The festival is held in Los Angeles every month and celebrates "the women who love writing, producing, directing, and watching badass genre movies: action, thriller, sci-fi, horror, fantasy, western, exploitation (of men or audience only), B-movie, and erotica."
It was the first directing role for Anne, who also co-wrote the special effects extravaganza and previously co-scripted the 2003 modern-day update of Pride & Prejudice. After the praise for Dawn of The Dragon Slayer, she is now finishing work on another sword-and-sorcery film titled The Virgin And The Warrior.
