Diego Luna, best known for his roles in "Narcos" and "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," may have made a big name for himself in Hollywood, but he still considers Mexico home. Born and raised there, Diego married his then-wife Camila Sodi in Mexico City in 2008 before they moved to the US. They share two children together, Fiona and Jerónimo Luna, but divorced in 2013. After the split, Diego decided to relocate back to Mexico and raise his kids there so he could focus on his activism and help solve the issues facing his home country.

In 2018, he told NPR that there's a "richness" about Mexico that he wants his kids to experience. "I have to say there's something quite interesting in living this time of their lives in Mexico versus the States," he said. "Right now,...

Hello from Provincetown, Massachusetts. As I write this week’s column, Fabian and I are enjoying a week on Cape Cod. In addition to spotting “White Lotus” star Murray Bartlett riding his bike on Commercial Street and seeing Billy Eichner at the legendary daily afternoon “T-party” at the Boatslip hotel, I finally got to meet David Drake, the artistic director of The Provincetown Theater, at a performance of the company’s “The Glass Menagerie.” Due to the pandemic, this season’s performances are outdoors on a stage erected in the theater’s parking lot. As Drake noted in his introduction of the sold-out performance, audiences get to view “The Glass Menagerie” under the same stars that Tennessee Williams probably experienced while writing the first draft of the play in a cottage on the east end of Provincetown. The Provincetown Theater is an example of the resiliency of the arts. At the end of the play,...

New Dad Luna Loves Early Morning Playtime
Fatherhood has turned Mexican star Diego Luna into a happy early riser - because he can't wait to wake up and play with his kid.
The actor's son Jeronimo was born last summer, but the Milk star still can't get enough of his kid.
He says, "I love waking up with him. It's the most beautiful thing ever. The morning was never so good. I used to hate mornings... I used to wear sunglasses. I started to function after 11 or 12.
"Now, at 5am, I'm playing with my kid and changing diapers. You become a different man."
And he became a really devoted husband to new bride Camila Sodi after he saw what she went through in the delivery room.
The unusually candid star tells Bust magazine, "I have to say I became more in love with her (Sodi) when I realised what a good mother she is.
"When you are there and see what they (women) go through, it's like, 'Whoa!'"...
