François Edouard Bernier

-François Édouard Bernier is a graduate in acting from the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Québec. In addition to starring in a dozen productions across Quebec ("Corps et âme", "Charme", "Les mains de Jonathan"), he has participated as actor and co-creator in several creative projects, including ishow (Prix de la meilleure production Montréal de l'AQCT in 2013 and Buddies in Bad Time Vanguard Award for Risk and Innovation at Toronto's Summerworks Festival) and Rien à cacher, a documentary show about data collection on the Web. François Édouard is also a dubbing and voice actor. His voice work was featured in "Oh non des Alien" (2013-2015), "Édifice en Péril" (2020) and in several commercials. Between 2016 and 2020, François Édouard completed a master's degree in dramaturgy at UQAM's École supérieure de théâtre. In 2017, he accompanied the Berlin collective Rimini Protockoll as dramaturgical advisor for the local adaptation of the show 100%, presented as the opening night of the FTA. François Édouard is a playwright and member of CEAD. His text "Le Judas" was presented at the Jamais Lu Québec festival in 2018. He was dramaturgic advisor on Théâtre Denise-Pelletier's "La métamorphose" presented in fall 2021. He worked on the writing of a first short film financed by SODEC entitled "Molosse", as well as on the development of a theatrical project in collaboration with the company 'Nous Sommes Ici'.
