“Poor Things”, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, the Venice Golden Lion of 2023, has obtained the FIPRESCI Grand Prix after having been chosen film of the year 2024 by the members of FIPRESCI. The vote had the participation of 791 film critics all over the world. , who have chosen this British production from among all of the films premiered after 1 July 2023. More


San Sebastian. At the opening ceremony the FIPRESCI Grand Prix 2024 (see left column) has been presented. The Brazilian critic Ela Bittencourt handed the award to Manuel Muro, Director General of Walt Disney Studios in Spain.

Aruna Vasudev. We deeply mourn the sad demise of one of the founders of the India Chapter of FIPRESCI. She was an eminent film scholar, critic, editor and author. More
