Please add new articles on NNLs that you may know about or create links to the National/State Park they are located in.

  • I think this list has all the current NNLs. If there are some missing, add them. Also try to add more pages for each NNLs. I'll start to add some for which I can take pictures.

Great stuff!

According to the wikipedia article this is located soley in Nebraska, not Idaho also. --Jon 01:00, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Photos

[edit]

I'd suggest the pictures should be sized closer to 100px. I think it would make the table look more balanced, and the page not so long so it wouldn't take so long to scroll down. Just a humble suggestion. :) --Ebyabe (talk) 15:42, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

column 1

[edit]

What is the purpose of the column 1 with the numbers? How does this sort differently than the sort by state name? (by the way there are 54 table entries, not 55; a number has been skipped) Hmains (talk) 01:50, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

personally, I use it when editing a specific row, to scan quickly through the list. Piped links take longer to read... dm (talk) 02:13, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

When

[edit]

Whenever this is updated, please include when it is done. It is currently unclear if this list is current. Thanks. Alanscottwalker (talk) 16:29, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merge back to National Natural Landmark

[edit]

The split history in a nutshell:

  1. Originally the full list (what would've been 500+ items) was growing in National Natural Landmark.
  2. Such a huge list would overwhelm that page so the full list was split to this page in Dec. 2005 [1].
  3. The full list itself started getting unwieldy so it was further split into state-by-state pages in Dec. 2008 [2].

I propose merging this list into National Natural Landmark#List of landmarks because, after the state-by-state split, it's no longer too much for the main article. —Mrwojo (talk) 17:20, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Support, the proposed merge will simplify navigation on this subject. --Footwarrior (talk) 13:37, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. For me it would've been one less click between National Natural Landmark and the actual lists. As this proposal has been sitting for a week, I've gone ahead and done the merge [3] [4]. —Mrwojo (talk) 22:28, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
