'The Studio Theatre' in Łódź (Teatr Studyjny) is one of the oldest theatres in Łódź (Poland), having been built in 1870. Since 1998, it was managed by the Leon Schiller National Higher School of Film, Television and Theatre, and in 2002 the theatre became the school’s property.


The League of Gentlemen is the greatest TV show ever produced. It tells the stories of the inhabitants of the fictional town of Royston Vasey. It stars the most talented actors on the planet, Reece Shearsmith, Steve Pemberton and Mark Gatiss

The Series

Until now, there have been three series of the show:

  1. Series 1 (1999)
  2. Series 2 (2000)
  3. Series 3 (2002)

The Apocalypse

"The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse" is a feature film, which tells the story of the imminent doom of Royston Vasey. The authors of the show are abducted into the world of their creations, while their characters enter the real world.

Papa Lazarou

Papa Lazarou is one of the more bizarre characters of the show, and one of the most popular. He collects the wives of the Royston Vasey inhabitants, in addition to selling pegs.

The Local Shop

Most murders in the show take place in the local shop (for local people, there's nothing for you here)
