Maruko Bridge (丸子橋, Maruko-bashi) is a bridge over the Tama River, connecting Ōta Ward in Tokyo and Nakahara Ward in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.  Maruko Bridge, a picturesque light blue bridge adorned with two elegant arches, has earned its place among the "100 Best Bridges in Kanagawa". Its scenic beauty and distinctive architecture have made it a popular filming location for numerous dramas and movies. Situated downstream of the Tama River, the bridge's surroundings offer expansive, level grounds, making it a welcoming gathering place for people of all ages to engage in sports, leisurely strolls, or simply relax. The Tama River itself boasts clean waters teeming with diverse fish species, and Maruko Bridge is known as a prime spot for catching sea bass, sweet-fish, eels, carp, and more.^[1]

The current Maruko Bridge was completed in 1965 and is a prestressed concrete girder bridge. It replaced an older bridge that was destroyed during World War II. The bridge is an important transportation link between Tokyo and Kanagawa Prefecture, carrying both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
