Kathryn Hahn‘s splashy new Disney+ show Agatha All Along has finally premiered, much to the delight of WandaVision fans everywhere. But Marvel fans may be surprised to hear the series features the second-ever nude scene in the entire Marvel franchise.

The Agatha All Along pilot episode, titled “Seekest Thou the Road,” shows Agatha Harkness coming out of the Westview hex Wanda Maximoff cast with the help of Aubrey Plaza‘s Rio Vidal. Naked and afraid, Agatha rushes to her neighbor’s house to figure out exactly what’s been going on.

The scene ends with a cheeky peek at Hahn’s bare butt, which series creator and episode director Jac Schaeffer said is “a point of pride for us.”

Speaking to TVLine, Schaeffer revealed they had to run the scene by Marvel boss and studio head Kevin Feige.

Schaeffer maintained that they didn’t have to necessarily negotiate to include the nude scene – “‘Negotiate’ is maybe the wrong word,” he told the outlet – but they did have to give him a heads up.

According to Schaeffer, Feige initially responded, “Really?” but he ultimately signed off.

The director explained why the nude scene felt right for Agatha’s character, noting she had just quite literally shed her identity as Wanda Maximoff’s nosey neighbor Agnes O’Connor.

“She’s taken all of her performative selves off,” Schaeffer said.  “And Kathryn [Hahn] came to me and was like, ‘Would Agatha stop to get a robe…? I feel like she would go out there naked.’”

Hahn “was so up for it,” Schaeffer added.

The scene “is so firmly based in character. It is not exploitative, it is not sexual,” he said. “It is about this witch and what her priorities are. And in this moment, she needs answers and she doesn’t care if she’s naked or not. So yeah, it’s a point of pride for us.”

Agatha All Along debuted on Disney+ this week with a 79% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The witchy new show takes place after the events of Wandavision.

Now free from Wanda’s hex, Agatha recruits a team of unlikely allies — which includes Plaza as her former rival and lover, as well as Patti Lupone playing a witch who can see the future, and the mysterious Teen portrayed by Joe Locke — to help her regain her powers.

The first two episodes are now streaming on Disney+.

New episodes of Agatha All Along air Wednesdays at 9/8 C.
