The Golden Bachelorette premieres on Wednesday, September 18, and leading lady Joan Vassos is about to get wooed by a French man.

Among the group of 24 spunky seniors, dads, and grandpas fighting for the 61-year-old Golden Bachelor alum’s heart is early front-runner Pascal Ibgui, a charming French suitor who unleashes his sexy accent in the driveway of the Bachelor Mansion and seems to be a front-runner in the debut season.

The 69-year-old salon owner currently lives in Chicago, Illinois, and he’s ready to wine, dine, romance, and pamper The Golden Bachelorette lead. So who is Pascal Ibgui from The Golden Bachelorette ? And how long does Reality Steve expect Pascal to stay on the show? We’ve got answers!

Here’s everything we know about Joan Vassos’ French suitor Pascal, including his age, official Golden Bachelorette bio, Instagram account, Reality Steve spoilers, and more.

Who Is Pascal Ibgui On The Golden Bachelorette?

Per Pascal’s official Golden Bachelorette bio, the smooth 69-year-old salon owner from Chicago “is ready to say, ‘Eiffel in love!'”

“This French business owner is looking for his soulmate and cannot wait to meet our Golden Bachelorette. Pascal is a very proud father and grandfather whose family is his pride and joy. When he’s not working, Pascal loves going to the theater, trying new restaurants and going to concerts,” the bio continues. “He loves the finer things in life and says while he isn’t a great cook, he ‘makes great reservations!’ Pascal is French, so being romantic is in his blood, and he’s hoping to meet a woman who is passionate, full of life and intelligent. Pascal is ready to start the next chapter, and now, he just needs to find the right woman to stand by his side. Oui are rooting for you, Pascal!”

And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for: Pascal’s fun facts!

  • Pascal loves taking his grandson to the aquarium.
  • Pascal played a lot of tennis back in the day.
  • In another life, Pascal would have loved to be a fashion designer.

If you want to stay up-to-date with Pascal outside of The Golden Bachelorette, you can follow him on Instagram at @pascalibgui, where he had 468 followers ahead of the season premiere.

According to Instagram, Pascal is the owner of the Pascal pour Elle hair salon in Chicago and he even sells his own Pascal Paris brand of styling products. You can learn more about his business, family, and interests from social media. What we really want to know is how long Pascal sticks around on Vassos’ season.

How Far Does Pascal Ibgui Make It On The Golden Bachelorette? Reality Steve Spoilers

Want to avoid major Golden Bachelorette spoilers? This is your chance to stop reading. But if you’re curious to know how long Pascal Ibgui might stick around, we’ve got a Reality Steve rumor below.

In an August 27 Instagram post, Reality Steve revealed who he believes to be Joan Vassos’ final four contestants, and luckily for Pascal fans, he reportedly makes it to the final four and gets a Hometown Date. Pascal reportedly moves on to Fantasy Suite week and even makes it to Vassos’ top two contestants, but according to Reality Steve, he’s not The Golden Bachelorette winner.

“What I have heard is that when they got to the final two, Pascal self eliminated, I guess, basically wasn’t there in terms of was not in love with Joan,” Reality Steve wrote on August 27.

As always, Reality Steve rumors are only rumors until we watch the season play out for ourselves. Bachelor Nation’s go-to spoiler has been wrong before. Remember when we all thought Daisy won The Bachelor Season 28?! And I don’t think a single soul saw the ending of Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette season coming.

You’ll have to tune in Wednesdays from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET on ABC or watch next-day on Hulu to find out what really goes down on Joan’s journey. In the meantime, be sure to read Decider’s interview with Joan Vassos for more Bachelorette tidbits.
