Sean “Diddy” Combs is not only the focus of this week’s headlines, but also the center of Investigation Discovery‘s newly announced docuseries slated to be released next year.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project, which is a collaboration with Rolling Stone, will chronicle Combs’ “rise and influence,” as well as “the allegations of violent behavior and illegal activity that have trailed the music mogul.”

“As accounts of sexual assault, abusive behaviors, and other disturbing claims surface, the doc traces the story of this self-proclaimed Bad Boy, unraveling allegations of a pattern of depravity,” a press release shared on Wednesday adds, per THR.

The docuseries will showcase reporting from Rolling Stone, archival footage, and testimonies from both those who have made accusations against Combs and those who have known and collaborated with him, per Billboard.

Combs was jailed on Tuesday (Sept. 17) after being arrested on Monday (Sept. 16) in Manhattan, per the Associated Press. Combs has been hit with a slew of sexual assault allegations, and according to NBC News, the recent charges against him include racketeering, sex trafficking, and traveling to engage in prostitution. Other notable lawsuits against him include one from his ex Cassidy “Cassie” Ventura, who accused him of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, and another from producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who accused Combs of sexual assault, per ABC News.

His homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by federal agents earlier this year, and the grand jury indictment revealed that the agents had discovered “more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant,” and that they also seized “firearms and ammunition, including three AR-15s with defaced serial numbers,” per Page Six.

Investigation Discovery’s Quiet On Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV docuseries, which was released in March, exposed startling revelations from former child stars such as Drake Bell, and even prompted a video apology from Nickelodeon’s Dan Schneider.

The network has since released Spacey Unmasked and Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter, both of which are streaming on Max.
