Now that the 2024 Olympics have passed, the WNBA is back in action and kicking off the second half of the season with a Prime Video-exclusive “Thursdays with the W” game!

After the all-star game on July 20, the WNBA went on an Olympic break so players from the league could represent their countries in the women’s basketball competition; now that Team USA has returned home with gold, the season continues on.

The Phoenix Mercury — and their three Olympic gold medalists Kaleah Copper, Diana Taurasi, and Brittney Griner — will take on Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky for the first of two meetings between the teams this week.

Both teams enter this game coming off of wins in their last games. The two teams have not met yet this season.
