Following Shannon Beador and Alexis Bellino‘s heated confrontation in The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 premiere, it seemed unlikely that either of these women would want to move forward on a positive note. However, Bellino shockingly expresses her desire to “kill all animosity” with Beador in an exclusive clip for this week’s episode, which was obtained by DECIDER.

The clip picks up where we left off last week — at Heather Dubrow‘s  “new year, new me” party, where Gina Kirschenheiter and newbie Katie Ginella are caught quietly poking fun at the small portions of food the chef served at the event.

“I don’t understand why everything is not bread. It’s like a spoon full of food. So tiny,” Kirschenheiter complains, while Ginella adds, “I know, I’m so hungry. I guess I’ll starve here. 2024, we’re on a diet.”

Dubrow then introduces the Question Booth — which will not provide any money to solve Jennifer Pedranti‘s financial woes, but will instead give each lady a question to answer.

The first to take the bite? Bellino, who must reveal her “friendship goal” for 2024.

“I would have to say for Shannon Beador and I to kill all animosity and to be able to move forward,” she says in a surprising turn of events. “That’s my friendship goal.”

Like the class act she is, Beador politely claps and thanks Bellino — who explains her sudden change of heart in her confessional. “I literally do just want to be amicable in this group of women. I’m going to act like a Christian. I’m going to spread love,” she says.

However, Tamra Judge makes things uncomfortable when she jokes that Bellino will “have to stop banging” Beador’s ex-boyfriend John Janssen if she really wants a clean slate, prompting a burst of laughter from the returned reality star and an awkward silence among the rest of the group.

While Beador remains cordial at the moment, she says in her confessional that she has no interest in befriending Bellino — who is not only dating her ex, but also used to be married to the man who sued Beador and Judge for defamation.

“Alexis, I don’t know that acting is your forte,” she says in her confessional. “Because you can’t talk to me the way you have so far at this event and then all of a sudden snap your fingers and say you want to be my friend. It doesn’t work. I’ll never be your friend.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Thursday nights at 9/8c on Bravo. New episodes are available the next day on Peacock.
