We’re all in need of some Practical Magic — and Warner Bros. has got us covered.

The studio revealed on Monday that “Practical Magic 2 is in development and coming soon,” and Variety reports that stars Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are in talks to return. According to the outlet, one of the original film’s writers, Akiva Goldsman, is behind the sequel’s screenplay, while Bullock, Kidman, and Denise Di Novi are slated to produce.

Based on Alice Hoffman’s 1995 novel of the same name, Practical Magic follows Bullock and Kidman as sisters and witches Sally and Gillian Owens, who must navigate a family curse that kills every man who falls for an Owens woman, per Deadline.

The film also starred Stockard Channing, Dianne West, Goran Visnjic, Aidan Quinn, and Evan Rachel Wood.

As noted by Variety, ahead of Monday’s announcement, video clips were posted to the studio’s TikTok page from the 1998 film to share that Practical Magic is now streaming on Max and available on digital. In total, five “Practical Magic Moments” highlighting iconic scenes were shared.

Practical Magic 2 isn’t the only film that Bullock’s fans want to see her return for. Last month, she and Keanu Reeves reminisced on their 1994 action thriller Speed on the 50 MPH podcast, and Reeves teased that if they were ever to reunite for a third film, they would “freakin’ knock it out of the park.”

“Before I die, before I leave this planet, I do think that Keanu and I need to do something in front of the camera,” Bullock shared. “Are we, you know, in wheelchairs or with walkers? Maybe. Maybe. Are we on little scooters at Disneyland?”
