After The Bachelor Season 28 cast a set of sisters to date Joey Graziadei, Decider begged the franchise to quit casting siblings for a variety of reasons — one being, of course, that dating two family members at once is incredibly awkward! A single season later, ABC announced Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette cast, and wouldn’t you know it? We’ve got another sibling situation on our hands! This time, however, the circumstances are admittedly much more tolerable than they were in past. How? Well, for starters, one of Tran’s men is the brother of a former franchise contestant, which means the siblings aren’t living in the mansion together, simultaneously competing for the same girl. Phew!

Among the 25 guys competing for Tran’s heart is Aaron Erb, a 29-year-old aerospace engineer from Tulsa, Oklahoma who, per his official ABC bio, “is ready to love someone to the moon and back.” The first impression blurb goes on to say that Aaron is a romantic who loves building satellites destined for space, hanging on the lake, and playing sports like volleyball, golf, and pickleball. Oh yeah, and he’s the twin brother of Noah Erb, who longtime members of Bachelor Nation may remember from The Bachelorette Season 16 and Bachelor in Paradise Season 7.

Need a refresher on Noah Erb? Curious if he found love from the Bachelor franchise? And wondering what his thoughts are on older brother Aaron following in his footsteps and searching for love on The Bachelorette? We’ve got answers!

Who Is Noah Erb? Meet Aaron Erb’s Twin Brother

As noted above, Bachelor Nation first met Noah Erb when he was cast on The Bachelorette Season 16. When Erb dated Tayshia Adams he was a 25-year-old travel nurse who had worked the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. He made it to Week 7 before getting eliminated, then he returned to screen on Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 where he wound up finding lasting love…sort of.

Who Is Noah Erb’s Fiancé? Meet Abigail Heringer

During Bachelor in Paradise, Erb started dating Abigail Heringer from Season 25 of The Bachelor, starring Matt James. Those who watched James’ historic season will recall Heringer was The Bachelor‘s first deaf contestant and the first person in franchise history who used a cochlear implant. (She’s recently written a memoir titled The Deaf Girl that tells more of her life story.) Like Erb, Heringer was eliminated in Week 7 and went on to Bachelor in Paradise Season 7.

Erb and Heringer started dating on Paradise but parted ways in Week 5. However, Bachelor Nation learned that the two started dating again in July 2021, and now they’re engaged! The franchise alums announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on August 9, 2023, have taken their engagement photos, and are set to be married this fall! In January, Erb also posted an update to Instagram sharing that he and Heringer moved to Tulsa.

Who Is Aaron Erb? Meet Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette Season 21 Contestant

So will Aaron Erb be able to find his person with help from the Bachelor franchise as well? The twin brothers are hopeful.

In addition to the details shared above, Erb’s ABC bio also notes, “Aaron and Noah are extremely close and even more competitive. They come from a big family of 11 kids…Aaron is officially seven minutes older than Noah.”

When Aaron shared his Bachelorette headshot and casting announcement to Instagram, his twin brother commented, “Oh I’m ready for this 😮‍💨🙌🏼” and Heringer wrote, “Eek!! Excited for ya Aaron 👏👏.”

Per BachelorNation.com, Noah also posted an Instagram Story addressing his brother’s casting, writing, “In good conscience, I can’t get behind the whole lovERBoy nickname, but I’m excited for lil twin bro to take his shot and show who he is!” He’s also noted that despite their twin brother status, “no one is safe” from his commentary. So buckle up for some brotherly fun!

On Night 1, Aaron showed up to the mansion in a motorcycle with a sidecar and revealed in his intro video that he got married at 21 and since got divorced. Want to know more?
