Tyler Cameron has come a long way in four years.

In 2020, the newly-dumped Bachelorette runner-up was guest starring on ABC’s Single Parents (RIP) as Danny, a man who admittedly couldn’t fix a bedside table lamp. Now, in 2024, he’s starring in his own home renovation show on Prime Video alongside ex Hannah Brown and other members of Bachelor Nation. That’s what we call growth!

Going Home with Tyler Cameron, an eight-episode series that premiered in full on April 18, follows the former Bachelorette heartthrob back to his hometown, Jupiter, Florida, as he launches his own construction and home renovation company, Image One. But this is no ordinary home improvement show…

With help from his team — experienced house-flipper and pal Robb Ritch and Miami-based designer Jessica Quintero — the 31-year-old sets out to build his business while also honoring the memory of his late mother, Andrea, who unexpectedly passed from a brain aneurysm in 2020. As Cameron tackles ambitious professional projects, he connects with friends and family members while working to fully renovate his mom’s house — something he planned to do for her before her death. The result is a heartwarming series that puts love and loss on full display. It’ll scratch your home improvement itch and unexpectedly tug at your heartstrings, thanks to Cameron’s vulnerability and willingness to let cameras into his home.

The series gives viewers an intimate look at the former Bachelorette contestant’s personal life, family dynamics, and budding business. But those who knew the reality TV star when he was accepting roses, not construction jobs, will be happy to know it also features appearances from fan-favorite Bachelor Nation alum.

Whether old pals from the franchise are flying out to offer Cameron moral support, financial support, or last-minute design assistance, here’s a breakdown of all the Bachelor Nation cameos on Going Home with Tyler Cameron.

  • Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell — The Bachelor, Season 25

A Tyler Cameron original series would be nothing without cameos from his college bestie (and former Bachelor lead) Matt James and his longtime girlfriend Rachael Kirkconnell. After Cameron became The Bachelorette Season 15 runner-up, members of Bachelor Nation were hopeful that he would go on to a future Bachelor star. Instead, Cameron’s close friend James made history, becoming the franchise’s first Black Bachelor lead in Season 25. He ended the show with Kirkconnell, and the two are still together to this day.

In Episode 3, James and Kirkconnell arrive in Jupiter for Cameron’s Friendsgiving dinner. We see James get emotional over the thought of his last meal in the house where he, Cameron, and friends quarantined during COVID lockdown, and Kirkconnell explains, “Matt and Tyler’s friendship, I feel like it’s more like brothers than friends.”

“I felt like this house was always a place where anyone was welcome at that table. I felt like family right off the bat,” James says during a dinner toast later in the episode. When the two friends return in Episode 6 to attend a fundraising gala thrown by Cameron, James adds, “It’s just really important that you show up for your friends and your family, so we wanted to make sure we were here for Tyler. Ms. Cameron was the reason why I was actually on The Bachelor to begin with so there would be no [me and Rachael] without her.” Awww!

  • Jason Tartick — The Bachelorette, Season 14

In Episode 6 of the series, Cameron enlists the help of Jason Tartick, who members of Bachelor Nation may know as a Bachelorette Season 14 contestant, the ex fiancé of Bachelorette lead Kaitlyn Bristowe, or more recently the guy who accidentally spoiled Joey Graziadei’s Bachelor season. He’s also a banker who likes to invest in startups, which is why Cameron calld him to pitch a business idea.

After Cameron buys a house to renovate in hopes of tapping into the short-term rental market and bringing in major cash, he calls Tartick and asks if he wants to partner on it, invest, and turn it into a Jupiter Bachelorette party destination. “Tyler calls me a lot, so when he called me about a real estate project, I actually think his pitch was brilliant,” Tartick tells cameras. “What’s awesome about Tyler is his energy is so contagious. He’s got those creative juices that are constantly flowing.”

Tartick flies down to Jupiter and falls in love with the idea, so he helps Cameron demolish the house, heads back home, then returns for the big reveal, saying, “He literally pulled off some Houdini shit here” when he sees the renovated property. As the start of their journey, the boys hope to charge $400 to $500 a night for the short-term rental, but post-remodel, they learn they can bump up the cost to a whopping $1,000 a night — news that makes the Bachelor Nation investor ecstatic. When asked how their short-term rental was doing ahead of the series premiere, Cameron said, “It’s crushing it. It’s crushing it. I’m thrilled,” so perhaps we’ll see more of their partnership if the series returns for Season 2.

  • Hannah Brown — The Bachelor, Season 23 and The Bachelorette, Season 15

Last but certainly not least, Cameron’s ex Hannah Brown returns to good old “Jupe” to lend a helping hand when the Image One team finds themselves in need of another designer. That’s right — on top of all her other talents (Dancing with the Stars winner, author, Special Forces star) Brown has mad design skills!

“Hannah was the Bachelorette from my season. She ended up dumping me and picking someone else. After The Bachelorette ended, we got together, and then that didn’t work out but then my mom’s passing reconnected us,” Cameron explains. “Back on The Bachelorette I pitched to Hannah that I work in construction and she had a design background…we could be quite the team.” And boy was he right!

After telling Cameron she’s proud of him for moving back home and following his dreams, the two tackle a project for “a huge Bachelor fan.” They set out to redo a walk-in closet and primary bedroom for clients Karyn and Dan, and Brown breaths new life and personality into the series, exhibiting effortless chemistry with Cameron that will have viewers wishing she was a permanent part of the team. Brown flexes her knowledge and talents, wears adorable pink overalls, and successfully executes a gorgeous design that leaves Karyn crying tears of joy and asking, “Are you guys available for the next year for the rest of the house?” We hope so!

  • Going Home with Tyler Cameron Season 2: Dream Bachelor Nation Guest Stars

Hannah Brown’s highly-anticipated reunion appearance closes out Season 1 of Going Home with Tyler Cameron, but should there be a Season 2, here’s which members of Bachelor Nation Cameron would like to welcome to Jupiter.

“I think Hannah would be great to work with again. She was a great designer and I would love to see her work on some more projects with us,” Cameron said in an interview with Bachelor Nation. “Maybe Dylan [Barbour] and Hannah Godwin. Maybe they can get a summer little vacation home in Jupiter, Florida, that I can help them with. JoJo Fletcher, she’s a designer. I would like to maybe do something with her, too. I think she is incredible.”

Prime Video has yet to renew Going Home with Tyler Cameron for a second season, but judging from the premiere event, Cameron has a ton of Bachelor Nation pals he can call on to appear in future episodes. The series isn’t the most groundbreaking home renovation show out there, but it has a whole lot of heart and offers a unique glimpse into Cameron (and contestants’) personal life and post-show relationships. Crucially, it also isn’t another Bachelor podcast, so if Brown is onboard, another season that shows the Bachelor to Builder pipeline could be fun!
