We have some fantastic news for fans who didn’t get a chance to watch 1883 on Paramount Network. Paramount+, which is the streaming home of Taylor Sheridan shows 1883, 1923, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, and Special Ops: Lioness, is now available for only $2.50/month (the “Essential” plan) or $5.00/month (Paramount+ with Showtime) for the first year. Will There Be A Season 2 Of 1883?

There are currently no plans for a second season of 1883 — but additional Yellowstone spinoffs seem likely. During a June 2023 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Taylor Sheridan revealed that he’s planning “several more Yellowstone prequels,” which have yet to be announced.

Is 1883 On Paramount Network Tonight?

Nope. The summer of 1883 has concluded. The series finale aired two weeks ago (August 13) on the network. Tonight’s Paramount Network schedule is nothing but Bar Rescue, with the series airing reruns from 7:00-4:00 a.m.

Due to ongoing writers’/actors’ strikes and the success of the network airing episodes of 1883 on Sunday nights, we wouldn’t be surprised if additional Paramount+ shows eventually aired weekly on Paramount Network, with Taylor Sheridan programs 1923, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, and Special Ops: Lioness being the most likely candidates.

To be clear, that’s just speculation. We haven’t officially heard anything about those shows airing on Paramount Network. But it would make a ton of sense.
