Jenna Bush Hager Perfectly Recalls ‘The Brady Bunch’ Theme Song Despite Her “Terrible” Memory, Jokes She Sometimes Doesn’t “Even Remember My Own Son’s Name”

Today Show hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb treated fans to some musical entertainment on Wednesday’s (Aug. 23) broadcast when the duo spontaneously launched into a rendition of The Brady Bunch theme song, which they seemed to remember word-for-word.

While we all enjoyed the little bit, Bush Hager gave us even more to latch onto when she made an embarrassing admission shortly after.

“Isn’t it so weird how that song can stay in your brain but sometimes I don’t even remember my own son’s name?” Bush Hager asked, causing Kotb to laugh. “I don’t understand what happened, we should study our brains.”

The two had been playing a game in which they were tasked with pairing pictures of houses to the famous television shows they appeared in, ranging from the infamous suburban home of The Brady Bunch to the New Jersey mansion from The Sopranos.

Bush Hager and Kotb appeared surprised that they still remembered the sitcom’s theme song all these years later. According to Bush Hager, her kids regularly call her out for her “terrible” memory.

“Mila goes, ‘Mom, your memory is terrible. What is wrong with you?'” she claimed, referring to her 10-year-old daughter.

“She asks what’s wrong with you?” Kotb responded, almost in disbelief.

“Sort of,” Bush Hager clarified, before joking, “We’re pals. I’m the cool mom.”

The co-hosts shared a laugh as Kotb remarked, “You would never be the cool mom.”

Bush Hager shares three children she shares with her husband of 15 years, Henry Hager. The couple are parents to daughters Mila and Poppy and son Hal.

During that same broadcast, Bush Hager admitted she was no longer allowed to clean her children’s rooms because her kids sat her down and told her she “threw away too much of their stuff.” So much for being the cool mom!
