Lisa Vanderpump confirmed Raquel Leviss will not be returning for the new season of Vanderpump Rules, much to the surprise of no one.

“She talked about it [coming back]. Her team reached out, but in the end I think she decided not to,” Vanderpump told TMZ. “The cast don’t really believe anything she says, so there’s no point.”

Season 10 brought the show to its breaking point when Leviss was revealed to be having an affair with Tom Sandoval, the boyfriend of her cast mate and good friend at the time, Ariana Madix.

Sandoval has already signed on to return for Season 10, but Leviss’ future on the show has been up in the air after she checked herself into a mental health facility for three months after the season concluded. She has since left the facility.

Vanderpump said they were regularly in contact with Leviss’ team while she was in the mental health facility so they could talk about her future on the show. “We wanted to make sure she was in a good place first and I was going to do a one-on-one with her,” she said.

However, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum couldn’t quite reveal why Leviss won’t be returning to the show. “I don’t know. I don’t really understand anything she does,” she said.

Previous reports claimed Leviss was playing “hardball” and negotiating a higher salary for her return to the show, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.

Leviss does seem to think she deserves some compensation from Bravo after the show’s explosive season earned the series its first-ever Emmy nominations. The reality star recently told Bethenny Frankel she didn’t receive “a single penny” from the network, another claim that Vanderpump swiftly shut down.

“I think she got very well-paid. She got paid $361,000,” Vanderpump revealed.

It’s difficult to imagine what another season with Madix, Sandoval and Leviss back together again would look like. But reports are already claiming Madix refuses to film alone with Sandoval now that taping for Vanderpump Rules Season 11 has begun again.

With or without Leviss, Season 11 will certainly be an interesting one.
