Are you missing the OG Real Housewives of New York City? Well, you won’t have to wait that much longer to see them on your TV screens. According to a new report from Variety, The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy, which was originally slated to be the series’ fifth season, will officially come before the second installment of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club.

RHONY: Legacy — which premieres on Peacock in December — will now come ahead of Season 4 of the streaming series as it reunites Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon, Dorinda Medley and Kristen Taekman. Fans will see the group travel back to Saline Beach in St. Barths, where they will stay at the same infamous house featured in RHONY Season 5.

Earlier this year, Peacock announced a new cast for Ex-Wives Club, which filmed back in January. Former Housewives Brandi Glanville, Caroline Manzo, Eva Marcille, Phaedra Parks, Camille Grammer, Alex McCord, Gretchen Rossi and Vicki Gunvalson jetted off to Morocco to film what was supposed to be Season 4 of the show — but has now been pushed back to Season 5.

The decision to swap the seasons comes amid the rave reviews for Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake. The spinoff series, which finds de Lesseps and Morgan renovating a small town The Simple Lifestyle, was the second most-watched Peacock series premiere of any Bravo show, per Variety.

While speaking to Decider ahead of the spinoff’s premiere, de Lesseps and Morgan opened up about their time filming RHUGT: RHONY Legacy.

“There’s always drama when you have that many women together. But it’s fun drama,” de Lesseps said. “It’s not, like, dark and dirty. It feels happy, clean, like the first Ultimate Girls Trip, which I loved doing. I think fans are really gonna love RHONY together once again — the OGs are back.”

Speaking of “dark and dirty,” the Ex-Wives Club has been riddled with scandal after alleged reports of sexual assault took the Bravoverse by storm. According to reports, Glanville allegedly kissed Manzo “multiple times” without her consent and touched her “breast area and vaginal area” over her clothes, resulting in both women’s early exits from the show. While Peacock launched an investigation into the situation, Glanville later tweeted that she felt “set up” and insisted that the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum “was fine.”

RHUGT: RHONY Legacy will premiere in December on Peacock, while the second installment of RHUGT: Ex-Wives Club will drop on the streaming platform in 2024.
