It’s Taylor Sheridan‘s world and we’re just streaming in it. The Yellowstone creator’s latest star-studded, action-packed, all-American drama Special Ops: Lioness is poised to premiere on Paramount+ this weekend, making our summers all the more thrilling. But when exactly will Special Ops: Lioness premiere on Paramount+?

Special Ops: Lioness is inspired by a real life U.S. Military program that plants undercover operatives close to the women who are themselves close to terrorists. Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, and Morgan Freeman star in the new series as the power brokers of this world, but it’s up-and-comer Laysla De Oliveira who arguably steals the show as new Lioness recruit Cruz Manuelos. We watch in Episode 1 as Cruz escapes domestic abuse and blossoms as a new recruit in the Marines. She quickly moves up the ranks and jumps at the chance to help Lioness handler Joe (Zoe Saldaña) on a new top secret assignment. What Cruz doesn’t know is just how dangerous a mission she’s volunteered for or how ruthless her superiors will be to win the war on terror.
