Katie Maloney, Lala Kent Slam Tom Schwartz’s ‘WWHL’ Interview

Tom Schwartz‘s messy Watch What Happens Live appearance clearly didn’t sit well among his Vanderpump Rules costars Katie Maloney and Lala Kent. The two took to their separate social media accounts to blast the TomTom co-owner after he dished on all things Scandoval on Wednesday night’s (April 5) episode.

Following the bizarre interview with Andy Cohen, Maloney took to her Instagram Story to blast her ex-husband. She said, “Tom, I have two words for you: media training. Because you’re just gonna say whatever lands in your head and that’s not good.”

The reality star later shared a clip on Twitter from Schwartz’s interview, where he suggested that people give Tom Sandoval a hug if they see him “even if he doesn’t deserve it.”

Maloney captioned the video, “You’re the only that wants to hug him dude. READ THE ROOM!!!”

Meanwhile, Kent unsurprisingly helped get in on the action as she took to her own Instagram Story.

“Did Schwartzy really just say, ‘If you see Sandoval in the street, give him a hug?’” the Give Them Lala author, who was sporting an eye mask, asked. “We’re atomic wedgie-ing his ass. We’re punching him straight in the dick.”

In another video, she added, “Every time I sit here and say, ‘I’m over Scandoval, I don’t want to see it anymore,’ one of those fucking people just meets another level of buffoonery. And here I am having to school more motherfuckers on life. What Schwartz said has made me need to smack my vape 500 times.”

In case you missed it, Sandoval engaged in a months-long affair with Raquel Leviss, the close friend of his girlfriend of nine years, Ariana Madix. Their fling was uncovered last month when Madix found a sexually explicit video of Leviss on Sandoval’s phone.

While all of our questions will surely be answered in due time when the show’s Season 10 reunion airs, Schwartz finally revealed that he first learned of the duo’s one-night stand in August 2022, around the same time he made out with Leviss during Scheana Shay‘s wedding weekend.

According to Schwartz, he didn’t realize it was a full-blown affair until Sandoval confessed to being “in love” with Leviss in January. The Schwartz & Sandy’s co-owner — who mainly spoke in “word salad,” per Cohen’s description — also revealed that Sandoval is “obsessed” with Leviss, before saying, “Raquel is Tom’s heroin.”
