Garcelle Beauvais appeared on Sherri onTuesday (Feb. 28) to talk about the next season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which is currently filming. The Real Housewives star did not mince words when it came to talking about her costars – even when she learned they didn’t have the nicest things to say about her.

Beauvais has been publicly feuding with costar Erika Jayne both on-and off-screen since Season 12. But she told Shepherd that the two are turning over a new leaf this next season.

“You know, we’re going into this new season, trying to be open,” the actress said. “We’ll see where we’re going. It’s only been a week.”

She acknowledged that things were still tense between them at BravoCon in October.

“We side-eyed each other at BravoCon,” she said. “But it’s a new season. Let’s go in, let’s see what happens. Let’s see where we’re going to be.”

Their feud seemed to peak while filming in 2022, when inside sources claimed they “really got into it with each other.” Fans soon noticed that Beauvais was no longer following Jayne on social media.

That April, she shared a clip of her yelling at Jayne on the show to promote her upcoming memoir. The clip shows Beauvais yelling, “I don’t have to make you look bad, you can do that on your own.” She captioned it, “You know how else you can look bad all on your own? By not pre-ordering your copy of #LoveMeAsIAm before it comes out on Tuesday.”

Jayne fired back by sharing a video of herself throwing Beauvais’s memoir in the trash. “Garcelle, even though you unfollowed me I’m sure you’ll see this,” she wrote in the caption.

When asked by a fan on Twitter why she threw her memoir out, Jayne replied, “Her Instagram post. No need to use my name or very complicated legal and personal problems to sell her book. She has enough friends to help her.”

Jayne was also seen trying to flirt with Beauvais’s adult son at her birthday party in a June 2022 episode. A later episode also showed her yelling at Beauvais’s teenage son at that same party.

The Real Housewives star didn’t have too much else to share about their feud or where they stand with each other. But acknowledging that they’re “trying to be open” is not the same as saying everything is fine now, so it’s safe to say that we should still expect some drama this season.
