While the drama between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga continues to unfold, the reality star is making amends with another figure familiar to Real Housewives of New Jersey fans.
Giudice took to Instagram on Saturday (Feb. 11) to share that she met up with her former costar — and ex-BFF — Jacqueline Laurita at a lunch where the two seemingly squashed their previous beef.
“5 hour lunch! Lots to talk about. Lots of laughs too! Reunited and it feels so good!” Giudice captioned the photo.
Shocked fans infiltrated the comments section as one wrote, “FREAKING OUT,” and another added, “Hell has officially froze over.”
Laurita starred on the hit Bravo series from its inception in 2009 until 2014, before returning in 2017 for the show’s seventh season. When she didn’t come back for Season 8, she speculated it was because the network believed she “no longer [had] an authentic connection with two of the season’s cast members,” seemingly referring to Giudice and Gorga, whom she had been clashing with.
Giudice recently addressed their falling out on her Namaste B$tches podcast, where she revealed she was “devastated” over the “friends divorce,” before adding that she wishes Laurita, who currently lives in Las Vegas, “nothing but the best,” per Reality Blurb.
The comments came shortly after the RHONJ alum claimed Gorga is “really good at lying” and “very good at manipulating people,” per Page Six.
She doubled down on her statements, telling AllAboutTRH, “I believe Melissa was jealous that Teresa and I were getting along and she knew that producers were pushing for us to be friends again. That’s why I believe Melissa twisted the narrative on camera into steering the viewers into believing that I was the one jealous of their relationship.”
Laurita later added, “I was also upset and confused about the way Melissa turned her back on me on camera after I was a good and supportive friend to her. I felt used by her.”
