When is ‘Barbarian’s HBO Max Release Date?

If you weren’t afraid of rental homes before, you will be after watching BarbarianDirected by Zach Cregger, the horror film is set to finally make its way onto streaming just a little over a month after it first premiered in theaters — just in time for Halloween.

Starring Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgård, and Justin Long, Barbarian follows Tess (Campbell) as she books a rental home in a rundown neighborhood while she’s in town for a job interview. When she realizes the home was double-booked and a man named Keith (Skarsgård) is already staying there, she decides to spend the night anyways. However, things aren’t what they seem as she discovers secret tunnels in the basement of the house that lead to a horrifying mystery.

As of now, the only place to watch Barbarian is in theaters. It premiered on Sept. 9 and you can find a local showing on Fandango. WHEN IS BARBARIAN COMING TO HBO MAX?

Barbarian will officially join HBO Max’s library on Tuesday, Oct. 25 — the same day it’s slated to release on digital. You can sign up for the streamer for $9.99 per month with ads or $14.99 per month without ads. They also have a special going on until Oct. 30 where you can save over 40% by signing up for the yearly plan, which is $69.99 for the first year with ads or $104.99 for the first year without ads.
