Love is in the air — wait, it’s not February. That must mean that a new season of Love Is Blind is streaming on Netflix! That is correct; Love Is Blind Season 3 is out on Netflix right now, and it is a doozy. And while the pods sure do look the exact same (they do tidy them up between seasons, don’t they? Give the pillows a fluff?), the participants sure don’t sound the same. There’s considerably more twang this season — don’t you hear it? Where does this cast call home, and where was this season filmed?

That’s what we’re here to unpack, because you know Love Is Blind ain’t just filmed in one place. This show goes places emotionally and geographically! And since we don’t have the degrees and expertise necessary to parse all of these romantic entanglements, let’s just talk about the show’s filming locations.

Where is Love Is Blind filmed?

Oh, everywhere — but primarily in the hearts of the singles. That’s… not the answer you seek! Okay. I get it. Let’s start with the pods: the Love Is Blind pods are actually in Atlanta at Trilith Studios — which is also where Marvel shoots its movies and TV shows. Will the Lacheys be seen in the background of Marvel Studios’ upcoming Secret Invasion? Only time will tell (this is a joke). This also explains why all of Season 1’s singles were from the Atlanta area.

Season 2, however, pulled its cast from Chicago, filmed the pod portions in Atlanta, and then returned to Chicago for the back half of the season. As for Season 3…

What city is Love Is Blind in? Where is the Love Is Blind Season 3 cast from?

The Love Is Blind Season 3 cast all hail from the Dallas area. Yep, Love Is Blind went to Texas! Both Chicago and Dallas are a two-hour flight from Atlanta, which probably factors into why those cities were chosen. It’s easier to get participants to Atlanta if they’re just a two-hour flight away.

Where do the Love Is Blind Season 3 couples go on vacation?

For their post-pod retreat, the couples from Season 3 travel to Malibu, California for a week in paradise. That’s where they get to know each other, and it’s also where they get to see all of the people they dated and didn’t end up with. Drama. This portion of the season takes place all over Malibu’s wine country. The couples stay at Calamigos Ranch (you can see the ranch’s logo on a door key) and hang out at Malibu Cafe.

As for the location of that gorgeous exterior, the one up in the mountains and surrounded by a vineyard, it’s actually located a mile northeast of the Calamigos Ranch. It’s close to the Le Sangreal wedding venue, but it doesn’t appear to be part of it.

As for the rest of the season, it will all be filmed in and around the Dallas area. As for where specifically, though, we’ll have to wait and see when the rest of the season drops over the course of the next three Wednesdays.
