It’s been just over one month since the Stranger Things 4 finale left us sad-sobbing, happy-sobbing, and every kind of sobbing in between. But luckily for us, it looks like things are picking up as the Stranger Things writers’ account on Twitter teased the start of writing on the fifth and final season of the ’80s-set sci-fi show.

Showing nothing but a whiteboard with the Stranger Things 5 logo drawn on it, reflections of some dudes in the back, and an ominous caption that reads “Day 1” and absolutely nothing else, they aren’t giving us much. And although we know Season 5 is locked-in and happening, it still feels extremely reassuring to have this kind of validation — and so soon after Stranger Things 4 hit Netflix.

Stranger Things fans took to the comments section to share both their excitement, and their advice for the future of the show.

“I’m gonna puke,” one fan wrote, while another said, “YESSSSS!!!!!”

Most of the comments, unsurprisingly, are urging the writers to resurrect Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn) from the dead.

“WRITE EDDIE BACK IN IM NOT PLAYING,” one person commented.

“IF EDDIES NAME ISNT ON THAT BOARD IN 5 SECONDS,” another fan demanded.

Other fans were quick to make memes filling in the blank space on the board with what they hope to see in Season 5.

“Eddie is Alive,” one fan wrote, while another put, “Robin and Nancy kiss and save the world.”

Another meme placed the words, “Give Steve a cathartic crying scene,” over the whiteboard.

Someone else suggested, “Will Byers happy & gets bf,” and another rallied for Max and Lucas’ happy ending, writing, “Lumax movie date!”

My only hope is that we won’t have to wait another three years to find out if any of these suggestions will come to fruition. In the meantime, all four seasons of Stranger Things are currently streaming on Netflix.
