Just a few days back from his short hiatus, fans are praising Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings. Except he’s not the only one to return to the game show realm.

Viewers were quick to notice Wednesday night’s contestant Alfred Guy, currently a Yale faculty member, from several stints in other televised quiz shows. Although he didn’t win on Jeopardy!, Guy appeared on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? in 2011 alongside Meredith Vieira, where he made it to 13 out of 14 questions when he decided to walk away with $250,000. He also won $100,000 on an episode of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? back in 2019.

As if that wasn’t enough, Guy appeared on a May 1987 episode of Love Connection under the name Alfie Guy.

One user who recognized the contestant recapped his game show legacy before writing, “I wonder how he will do on #Jeopardy.”

“Wow, Alfred living my dream of being a game show slut,” another user chimed in.

Others were upset that Guy didn’t win Jeopardy!

“Really wanted Alfred to win Jeopardy tonight!! Such a shame!! He seemed like a quirky fella,” someone tweeted.

However, some users simply liked his choice of fashion, with one person posting, “I LOVE his shirt color! And the tie print is great and coordinates *perfectly* with the shirt. Very nice choice.”

In other news, many people who watched last night were simply relieved to have Jennings back as a host as opposed to his counterpart, Big Bang Theory star Mayim Bialik.

“So nice to see Ken Jennings back on Jeopardy,” one user wrote while another said, “Thank god Ken Jennings is back hosting Jeopardy. The earth is healing.”

Jeopardy! airs weeknights at 7/6c on ABC.
