Halo just dropped on Paramount Plus last week, and now that we’ve totally binged the first few episodes, we’re trying to find ways to stay immersed on the planet Madrigal while we wait for the next episode to drop. There’s an easy fix to our predicament: play the game!

The hit TV series is based on the critically acclaimed game series of the same name, and has been around for years building a devoted fanbase. If you’re into first person shooter games, then Halo Infinite is definitely the game for you. You can play co-op with your friends or operate on a solo campaign mode depending on your preferences. And best of all? It’s a new release, having dropped December 2021.

It’s important to note that the latest installment is in fact the sixth in a line of games for the Halo franchise. And, more importantly, it’s the third in the “Reclaimer Saga.” You can start with Halo 4 and Halo 5, but it’s not important to gameplay to understand what’s going on from the previous games. And honestly, unless you have an XBox 360 lying around, it’s probably not in your best interest to start with those, anyway. Especially since the new model, the XBox Series X, isn’t compatible with older games.

So, whether you’re waiting on the next episode or just tweeting out your thoughts on the first episode, you can play the hit series for hours on end and explore the world as the Master Chief from the comfort of your couch or gaming chair.
