‘Eternals’ Is Now Streaming on Disney+

Marvel fans haven’t had to wait an eternity for Eternals to arrive on Disney+. Just over two months after its theatrical release, Marvel’s all-star epic film is now available to stream for everyone with a Disney+ subscription.

Directed by Oscar winner Chloe Zhao (Nomadland), Eternals is an ensemble fantasy drama that takes a look at the early days of the MCU. We’re talking ancient history here — like if comic books and world history text books had their own Marvel team-up. The film follows an ancient cadre of powerful beings who have shepherded and shaped mankind’s destiny for thousands of years — and then they kinda took a break and let Thanos snap away half of existence. Oops! Anyway — the time has come for these beings to make their existence known to mankind, and now you can see their coming out party on Disney+.

The film brings a few new Hollywood A-listers into the Marvel fold, including Angelina Jolie as the warrior Thena and Salma Hayek as wise leader Ajak. In leading roles, Eternals cast Richard Madden as Ikaris and Gemma Chan as Sersi. As far as the comics are concerned, Ikaris and Sersi have long been the most prominent members of the Eternals; Sersi even served as an Avenger for most of the ’90s. The same is true for her human boyfriend Dane Whitman, played by Kit Harington in the film.

As with every Marvel movie, you’re definitely going to want to stick around for the Eternals mid-credits and post-credits scenes. If you haven’t already been spoiled, you’ll be psyched to know that there are some big reveals therein — ones that could lead to some big developments in the MCU.

So what are you waiting for? Eternals is now streaming on Disney+ for your enjoyment. It’s an adventure unlike any previously seen in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.
