After over three years, the FX anthology series American Crime Story is finally back for Season 3, titled Impeachment: American Crime Story. Although the season ostensibly builds up to President Bill Clinton’s (Clive Owen) 1998 impeachment trial (and his affair with then-White House intern Monica Lewinsky, played here by Beanie Feldstein), it largely centers on the relationship between Lewinsky and her friend/colleague Linda Tripp (Sarah Paulson), who infamously recorded Monica’s confessions to the affair and helped set the public scandal in motion.
In shifting the focus away from Clinton, the series focuses on the women at the center of this historical event who have often been placed at the margins of their own story.
But will Impeachment: American Crime Story be on Hulu, like many other FX originals? Here’s what to know about how to watch it.
When Will Impeachment: American Crime Story be on Hulu?
Not for a while, sorry. Although FX originals generally stream on FX and Hulu by 5:01 a.m. ET the day after they air on TV, Impeachment: American Crime Story is an exception. It will be available to watch on FX’s website and FX Now, but not on Hulu.
Will Impeachment: American Crime Story be on Netflix?
Eventually, new seasons of American Crime Story head to Netflix after they have completed their full season run on FX; both The People vs. OJ Simpson and The Assassination of Gianni Versace are currently available to watch on the streaming giant thanks to an exclusive deal they brokered with FX, prior to FX’s acquisition by Disney. Episodes of Impeachment won’t be on Netflix for at least a few months, though.
How Can I Watch Impeachment: American Crime Story?
Impeachment: American Crime Story will be available to stream on FX’s website and FX Now after its television premiere.
If you want to watch it as soon as humanly possible, though, you’re going to need either cable or a live TV skinny bundle. For cable, turn your TV to FX before 10 p.m., and you’re good to go. You can also use your cable username and password to watch new episodes live via FX’s site and apps.
