Is the ‘Tiny Pretty Things’ Cast Really Dancing in the Netflix Show?

Netflix is delving into the world of dance with Tiny Pretty Things, its new drama series from Michael MacLennan (Bomb Girls). The show follows Neveah Stroyer (Kylie Jefferson), a dancer who is selected to fill the spot of Cassie Shore (Anna Maiche) at the elite Archer School ballet academy after Cassie is mysteriously pushed to her death by a hooded perpetrator.

The series examines the lives and dramas of the dancers at Archer, some who are still reeling after Cassie’s death and others who are dealing with their own traumas while trying to claw their way to the top of the dance world.

Decider’s Joel Keller likened Tiny Pretty Things to “a combination of two Freeform shows: Pretty Little Liars and Bunheads,” adding, “Tiny Pretty Things will make you never want to enroll your kids in a ballet class, given how emotionally scarring the art is portrayed to be here. Between that, the cliched characters and the clunky dialogue, you’re better off watching Bunheads over and over instead,” he wrote in his Tiny Pretty Things Netflix review.
