What Time Will ‘Possessor’ Be On Demand?

Possessor, aka Possessor: Uncut, features some of the most horrifyingly disturbing scenes of 2020, and yet I’d still rather watch it than the presidential election coverage. Perhaps that was Neon’s thinking when the production company moved up the Possessor release date from Friday, November 6 to Tuesday, November 3.

That’s right, Brandon Cronenberg’s Possessor is releasing on-demand tomorrow, three days ahead of schedule. Starring Andrea Riseborough as an assassin who possesses people’s bodies, the gruesome sci-fi thriller was met with rave reviews when it premiered at Sundance Film Festival in January. Fans of the genre won’t want to miss it, so here’s everything you need to know about the Possessor release date, release time, and how to watch Possessor on demand.

HOW TO WATCH POSSESSOR ON DEMAND:

Starting Tuesday, November 3, Possessor will be available to rent or buy on demand. You can rent or buy the film on platforms like Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Google Play, YouTube, Vudu, or wherever you prefer to purchase digital content.

WHAT TIME WILL POSSESSOR BE ON DEMAND?

VOD release times will vary depending on which service you use to purchase Possessor but new titles are usually added to iTunes at around 12 a.m. ET and Amazon at about 12 a.m. PT.

HOW MUCH DOES POSSESSOR COST ON DEMAND?

Prices vary across platforms, but the suggested price point for Possessor is $5.99 to rent for a 48-hour viewing window, or $14.99 to buy for keeps.

IS POSSESSOR ON NETFLIX OR HULU?

Possessor will not be available on Netflix or Hulu as part of the digital release. However, it is likely that Possessor will come to Hulu someday, thanks to a deal between Neon (the production company behind Possessor) and Hulu. There is not yet a Hulu release date for Possessor, but stay tuned.
