Elle Fanning and Sarah Ramos Give ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding’ The Reenactment It Deserves

Elle Fanning and Sarah Ramos are making the most of their quarantines, as this latest Instagram post confirms. The two actresses teamed up to recreate an iconic scene from My Best Friend’s Wedding that is sure to have you firing up the full-length rom-com (it’s currently streaming on Showtime, you’re welcome). Or, you could also just watch this a bunch of times because it is that good.

Fanning takes the role of Cameron Diaz’s Kimberly and an important note here is that these two actresses should play sisters in something like, ASAP. Cameron, we need you back! Look at this performance, you two would be great together!

But in the meantime, Ramos takes on Julia Roberts as Julianne in a crucial moment in the film and one that launched a legendary dessert metaphor. But let’s just take a moment to appreciate these performances. Fanning busted out an identical headband and thin strand of pearls for the part, and paired with the confused faces is nothing short of an Oscar-worthy performance. The same goes for Ramos who deserves kudos for not only the smile and the sunglasses and buried frustration, but also getting her hair to be the perfect texture, especially in a time without hairstylists!

Ramos has also recreated famous scenes from Showgirls, Sex and the City, and Riverdale on her Instagram if you’re looking for more entertaining clips.

Now, instead of choosing between creme brulee and jello, we will choose between the original scene from the 1997 film and this updated recreation. Here’s the original if you need help deciding:
