When Does ‘Outlander’ Season 5 Premiere?

Outlander Season 5 is almost here! Starz‘s steamiest drama is set to return just in time for Valentine’s Day, the most romantic holiday of the year. Outlander stars Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton, and Richard Rankin, and all due to return to your screens for more time travel-related hijinks, colonial American peril, and swooning love scenes.

In case you’ve forgotten where and when our Outlander heroes are when Season 5 begins, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) have successfully managed to build a life for themselves at Fraser’s Ridge. The star-crossed lovers are now free to be with each other in colonial North Carolina, even if Claire knows that the Revolutionary War is on its way. Claire and Jamie’s daughter Brianna (Sophie Skelton) has followed her mother through the magical stones in 1970s Inverness in an attempt to save her parents from dying in an 18th century fire. On-and-off flame Roger (Richard Rankin) followed Brianna back in time, and as Season 5 opens, the two are finally set to wed. However, there could be trouble afoot for the young lovebirds. Since the villainous Stephen Bonnet (Edward Speleers) raped Brianna last season, there’s no way to know who the father of Brianna’s baby Jeremiah is. So, you know, typical Outlander drama.

But when does Outlander Season 5 premiere? Will the new season of Outlander be on Netflix? And if so, when can you expect it to drop?

Outlander Season 5 is due to premiere on Sunday, February 16, 2020 on Starz.

IS OUTLANDER ON NETFLIX? IS OUTLANDER SEASON 5 COMING TO NETFLIX? WHEN DOES OUTLANDER SEASON 5 COME TO NETFLIX?

Outlander Seasons 1-3 are all streaming on Netflix. That means if you’re new to Outlander, you can catch up for free with your Netflix subscription.

However, it’s unclear whether or not Outlander Seasons 4 or 5 will eventually hit Netflix. Outlander Season 3 only just arrived on Netflix in December. By that math, Decider’s own Josh Sorokach estimates that Outlander Season 4 won’t hit Netflix until late 2020 or early 2021. Furthermore, by our estimation, Outlander Season 5 won’t hit Netflix until late 2021 or 2022.
