Netflix’s streak of can’t-miss reality TV continues with the launch of Love Is Blind, a reality/romance series that goes further than anything you’ve seen before. The concept driving the drama is simple enough: singles go on dates where they can talk to their potential significant other but can’t see them. Only after a marriage proposal is made will they see their maybe-soulmate—and then things get real! From there, Love Is Blind takes the couples out of seclusion and into the real world where the bond they formed in the most isolated setting will be tested by outside factors. Is love truly blind?!

It makes sense that Love Is Blind would film in Atlanta, as the city is a major hub for TV and movie production. But also, pulling all these singles from the same area means that the couples don’t have to deal with questions of moving across the country in order to be with someone they just met a week ago.
