‘See’ on Apple TV+: Everything to Know About Jason Momoa’s New Series

The streaming wars are heating up, and now, after that big Apple presentation, we know a whole lot more about the forces involved. The tech giant is jumping into the streaming game with Apple TV+, an ambitious effort that will roll out on November 1 (that’s ahead of Disney+’s November 12 launch, BTW). The new service will launch with an impressive slate of original shows and come in at a price point of $4.99 a month. And if you plan on buying a new Apple TV, iPhone, or Mac when they drop in the next few months, you’ll get a year of Apple TV+ for free.

One of the most anticipated shows of the launch is See, a post-apocalyptic drama with a wild premise and an all-star cast. Lead by Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard, this sci-fi series is definitely going to fill the Game of Thrones hole in your life–at least, that’s what Apple TV+ is betting on.

But what is See all about? And who else is in See? And is there a See trailer that you can, well, see? Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming epic.

What is See on Apple TV+ about?

Set far, far in the future, See is set on a version of Earth where almost all of humanity was killed off by a virus. The few that survived were left robbed of their sight, and now, generations later, human civilization has built itself back up. The world’s status quo is threatened when twins are born to warrior Baba Voss and his wife Maghra–twins with the ability to see. A queen, desperate to keep humanity from seeing the light, orders that the twins be brought to her, thus kicking off a war between Voss’ tribe and the queen’s forces that will determine the future of humanity.

Who is in the See cast?

Jason Momoa (Aquaman) stars as Baba Voss, a warrior and the father of twins who possess the ability to see. Alfre Woodard (Marvel’s Luke Cage) plays Voss’ advisor Paris, and Sylvia Hoeks (Blade Runner 2049) plays a queen determined to destroy the twins. Hera Hilmar (Mortal Engines) plays Maghra, the twins’ mother. The series also stars Yadira Guevara-Prip (Supernatural), Nesta Cooper (Travelers), Archie Madekwe (Midsommar), and Christian Camargo (Penny Dreadful)

Is there a See trailer?

You bet there is. You can watch this post-apocalyptic vision unfold before your very eyes…
