William Goldman’s ‘Princess Bride’: How To Stream His Most Quotable Movie

Earlier this morning it was announced that Academy Award-winning screenwriter William Goldman died last night at the age of 87. Surrounded by family and friends, Goldman passed away in his Manhattan home. Capturing screenwriting Oscars for All The President’s Men and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, the legendary writer began as a novelist before transitioning to screenwriting. 

Along with the aforementioned classics, Goldman is also responsible for penning the 1976 Dustin Hoffman thriller Marathon Man, the James Caan/Kathy Bates drama Misery, and, of course, the beloved comedy adventure saga The Princess Bride.
