Here’s Every Way To Stream ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’

Does rewatching Avengers: Infinity War on a loop have you emotionally drained? Do you need a little-to-a-lot of laughter with your superhero action? Then you are in luck, because big laughs come with Marvel’s smallest (and also biggest) hero–and now we know when Ant-Man and the Wasp will be available to purchase digitally and physically!

The comical comedown after the emotionally intense Infinity War, the Ant-Man sequel is a heroic romp filled with the mix of laughs and action that Marvel Studios delivers so well. This time around, Paul Rudd’s size-changing quasi-Avenger gets a crimefighting partner: Evangeline Lilly’s super capable (and super badass) Wasp. With the mission to rescue the long lost Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) up for grabs, Ant-Man, the Wasp, and all their associates duke it out with the creepy Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) for access to the Quantum Realm. So, when will you be able to experience this raucous ride at home?

When will Ant-Man and the Wasp be released digitally?

You’ll be able watch the full movie in HD and 4K UHD on October 2. That means if you buy your movies primarily through a VOD service like iTunes, Vudu, Google Play, Amazon, or the like, you’ll be able to buy it at full price and add it to your digital collection on October 2.

When will Ant-Man and the Wasp be available to rent digitally?

Digital rental dates almost always coincide with when a film is released on Blu-ray. So, going off that, it’s most likely that Ant-Man and the Wasp will be available to rent in iTunes and all the other VOD services on October 16.

When will the Ant-Man and the Wasp Blu-ray be released?

And yeah, as was previously said, Ant-Man and the Wasp will be released on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on October 16. But hey, it’s your money, ya know?

If you are a collector of Best Buy SteelBook editions, the Ant-Man and the Wasp SteelBook release will most likely arrive on October 16 as well.

What special features will be included?

While the release won’t have a director’s commentary from director Peyton Reed, it will have all the other usual ant-bells and wasp-whistles. There’s an intro to the movie from Reed, as well as making-of featurettes about Ant-Man, the Wasp, Hank & Janet, and the VFX and production design of the Quantum Realm. There’s also a gag reel as well as separate outtake videos from Stan Lee and Tim Heidecker’s cameos. There are two deleted scenes, including one featuring Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne in the Quantum Realm, and another featuring more of Walton Goggins’ Sonny.

If you get a digital release version of the film, you’ll also get a video doc look at the concept art of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and a commercial for the close-up magic university seen in the film.
