Most stars may ignore Leah Remini‘s claims about their involvement in the Church of Scientology altogether, but Jada Pinkett Smith is not one of them. Over the weekend, Remini insisted to The Daily Beast that Smith had “been in Scientology a long time” and, along with her husband Will, had donated some hefty sums to the Church.

The Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath host has made it her career’s mission to take down the allegedly abusive Church of Scientology since leaving in 2013, and after winning an Emmy for the first season of her show, it seems she may be inching closer towards her goal. Smith, however, is not impressed – and took to her Twitter page earlier today to dispute Remini’s claims of her involvement with the Church.

The first tweet began relatively vaguely, referencing a recent experience Smith had at Temple Sinai:

As the following tweets rolled in, however, it became clear that Smith was making a reference to Remini’s comments and telling her side of the story:

She did not reference Scientology and the study of Dianetics until her fifth tweet in the thread, in which she directly addressed the topic: “I am not a Scientologist”:

Smith wrapped things up by insisting that she “practices human kindness” and that people decide what they are and what they are not on their own terms. The last tweet in the thread reads as a direct jab at Remini and her assertions of Smith’s involvement in Scientology:

Remini, usually active on her Twitter account, has yet to respond to Smith’s tweets.
