Harlots

This revolutionary show has made waves by exclusively hiring female directors, writers, and producers, and it pays off. The steamy period drama from Hulu follows the lives of sex workers in 18th century London, and features a stellar ensemble cast. The unique utilization of the female gaze tells these women’s stories from their points of view rather through the overtired male angle, and it’s causing quite the sexism-tackling stir alongside other series hitting the platform this spring like The Handmaid’s Tale.

Better Call Saul: Season 2

AMC‘s critically-acclaimed prequel to Breaking Bad is set to return for a third season April 10, and lucky for you, the second season has arrived on Netflix just in time to catch up before then.
