It’s hard to fathom just how much your brain does, but imagine if it suddenly stopped working properly. Unfortunately, this is something Lotje Sodderland had to experience first-hand, when she suffered a traumatic hemorrhagic stroke in 2011. Her attempts to recover and get back to her old creative self are the focus of My Beautiful Broken Brain, a new Netflix original documentary executive produced by David Lynch. The documentary, which is co-directed by Sodderland and Sophie Robinson, arrives on the streaming service on March 18.
