WATCH: ‘Marvel’s Jessica Jones’ Is The Dark, Dirty, Drunk Superhero We’ve Been Waiting For

Marvel’s Jessica Jones isn’t landing on Netflix until November 20, but we’re already getting a sneak peak at the badass superheroine in action. Well, sort of. Netflix and Marvel dropped a brand new teaser trailer for the show last night. Titled “Nightcap,” the brief, atmospheric clip shows the aftermath of a brutal bar fight. The only woman left standing? Jessica Jones. And what’s on her mind? Blasting some Joan Jett and downing some booze.

This is the third teaser we’ve gotten for the hotly anticipated comic book adaptation in less than three weeks. The first teaser trailer featured gorgeous watercolor-tinged scenery and an eerie voiceover from the show’s big bad Kilgrave, played by David Tennant. The second teaser debuted last week and shows Jessica (Krysten Ritter) face down on her bed, surrounded by dirty laundry, empty bottles, and the tools of her trade. While we still haven’t seen Jessica’s face — or heard her speak— in any of the trailers, each one hints at her alcoholism and super strength. Check out how she deals with a wake up call by streaming the second teaser, “Good Morning,” below:

Needless to say, Jessica Jones is a different kind of hero. She’s flawed and dirty, R-rated and bitter. In short, Marvel’s Jessica Jones is going to be the anti-Supergirl.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones debuts on Netflix on November 20.
